Soy Kilts opened in Portsoy, Aberdeenshire in February 2004 and is owned and run by Moira George, born, brought up and educated locally.

 

She previously worked as an admin assistant but decided on a change of career.  As she had always had a keen interest and natural aptitude for sewing, she enrolled on a kiltmaking course at Keith Kilt School where she gained her SVQ qualifications.

 

Soy Kilts pride themselves on their friendly, efficient and one to one service they provide to each and every customer who walks through the door.  It is one of the very few establishments that the kilts are made in house.
